Lovells was also praised for the innovative personnel development programme it has in place for its lawyers. Gabriele Bollhöfer, graduate psychologist and career coach at Hogan Lovells, was awarded the 1st German coaching prize in the "Organisation" category in 2008. The award, presented at the ceremony held at the Congress of the German Federal Association of Executive Coaching (DBVC) in Potsdam on 17 October 2008, became the first to recognise the successful implementation of coaching programmes within organisations. This approach is a first for the sector.
