All associates participate in three "3 Keys to your Success" national conferences. At the first conference, the participants are introduced to the firm's structures, philosophy and rules of play. They familiarise themselves with the requirements of a career at Hogan Lovells and get hands-on training in methods to help them in their daily work. The second conference focuses on our clients. We develop an understanding of the companies' economics, practice client-oriented communication and optimise personal communication skills. At the third conference, the associates are taught methods and strategies for conducting negotiations and resolving conflicts. Each of these three-day conferences also presents opportunities for sharing experiences and networking with partners and associates from other offices. The conferences are held regularly in Berlin and boast high-profile speakers.
