What have been your career highlights?
As a member of Hogan Lovells international Competition team I am involved in important cases and transactions in which clients are advised by different Hogan Lovells offices across the world, and various practice areas within each office. I find it extremely rewarding and challenging to work in such a multicultural environment. In addition to international opportunities, Hogan Lovells also provides an incredibly supportive and friendly working environment. We regularly have social gatherings of which the summer party is highlight.
What do you expect from a junior lawyer in Hogan Lovells?
The legal profession is very demanding but also extremely satisfying. The high level of excellence that is expected of Hogan Lovells lawyers provides a daily challenge as does the incredibly rapid working pace, but this ensures perpetual growth and development of every lawyer, preparing them for future career challenges and opportunities.
An excellent academic record is a minimum standard. In addition junior lawyers must possess a deep sense of responsibility and high level of maturity in order to adapt to the challenge of being a lawyer within Hogan Lovells. They must be hungry to learn and develop their professional skills. The team environment within Hogan Lovells is extremely important and they will be expected to contribute to and develop this upon joining the firm.
