What have been your career highlights?
I joined Hogan Lovells when the Madrid office was established and was subsequently seconded to the London office for four months. Joining Hogan Lovells pushed me to pursue and achieve numerous career goals of which I am very proud, both personally and professionally. These achievements include having contributed actively to the Madrid office start-up, its growth and the development of its client base. In May 2009 I became a partner.
My broad experience comprises the areas of private equity, M&A and general commercial and corporate law, including the reorganisation of groups from a corporate perspective. In terms of recent work, the following are highlights:
- The partial acquisition by Reale of the non life insurance division of the Spanish savings bank CaixaTerrassa
- The joint venture between Alcasa (portfolio company of Qualitas Equity Partners) and Befesa
- The sale of Arsys to the Carlyle Group and Mercapital
- The acquisition of Inecosa by Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción
