What have been your career highlights?
I've been variously a banking lawyer, a legal journalist, the marketing partner in a City firm, a teacher on an MBA and a management consultant, all of which were good preparation for my role here which involves the legal know-how our lawyers use, their access to library and online materials, and the technical training they receive. My role ranges from delivering workshops to prospective future joiners to participating in discussions about our intranet.
What, in your view, is the one best thing about Hogan Lovells?
The quality of the people. The people here are really good at what they do and really pleasant to work with. That combination of professional excellence and personal warmth is unusual in organisations but it's part of our culture.
What is an interesting fact about you?
The only interesting thing about me is that I listen to heavy metal music. That is usually the only interesting thing about people who listen to heavy metal music.
